Way back in the second half of the 19th century, the shipping industry saw the first leap towards new technology in centuries. Boat designers and manufacturers used iron and then steel to build their ships. Wood ships soon became a quaint footnote and are now lovely inefficient antiques full of charm.

Home building is finally following the same revolutionary model. Instead of wood and concrete, the concept of using Structural Insulated Composite Panels is finally taking a hold in the mind of builders and architects worldwide, and World Housing Solution is at the forefront of that important shift.

You may remember the famous words uttered in the movie the Graduate: “There’s a great future in plastics. Think about it. Will you think about it?”

Well there is and we are here to prove it once and for all!

Strong: Our phenolic resin SICP is strong beyond belief

Light: A few men, with low-tech tools, can assemble our homes

Impervious to mold, mildew, insects, vermin and moisture!

Friendly to the earth and its precious resources

Reduces deforestation

Saves money and time

Efficient in its use of energy

Recyclable when at the end of its long useful life

Less impact on landfills

Finally, we now have the ability to quickly and efficiently address the housing issues plaguing the world. From emergency shelters to entire cities, World Housing Solution is the answer to the questions government and NGO’s alike are asking themselves.

We can establish factories and empower the local population to help themselves while creating a vast adjunct economy that will have a positive impact for decades and generations.

Can wood or concrete do that for you? I don’t think so.
